This is the home of The Higher Work, a book line by Elliott T. Ridge. Here's what we collect and why — in plain language. The short version: we only collect what you choose to give us, and we use it only to send you what you asked for.
What we collect
- Your email address (and first name, if you give it) — only when you join the Monday note.
- Basic, privacy-friendly usage stats — aggregate page views and referrers, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
Your email is used to send you the "one move on Monday" note and occasional related updates about the books. Nothing else. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and we share it only with the providers below who help us operate.
Who helps us run this
- Email: the newsletter is managed by Kit (ConvertKit), which stores your subscription details to deliver the emails.
- Hosting & analytics: the site runs on Cloudflare, which also provides our cookieless, aggregate analytics.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. If you submit the sign-up form, our email provider may set a cookie solely to process it.

Links to the books point to Amazon. If we are enrolled in the Amazon Associates program, we may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases — at no extra cost to you.
Your choices
Unsubscribe any time from the link at the foot of any email. To see what we hold or have it deleted, email hello@elliottridge.com and we'll handle it.
Children
This site and its books are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16.
